University of Adelaide researchers have created a way of turning waste plastic bags into a high tech nanomaterial. By transforming the waste materials through the nanotechnological recycling, can help decrease the environmental pollution at the same time as producing high added value product. The idea of this process was by PhD student named Tariq Altahi. The process of producing the high tech nanomaterial is catalyst and solvent free, meaning that it can be used without generating poisonous. So far, the plastic bag that was recycled had been used in many industries like in electronics. sports equipment, batteries, sensing devices and wind turbines.
